Bestselling author and comedian Ruby Wax demonstrates how social and technological change is turning the world into a better place

When was the last time that reading the news made you feel good?

In recent years, the endless news cycle has kick-started our fear engine and put us in a state of constant pessimism. But what if the facts were different? Literacy is at an all-time high, age expectancy has doubled since the 1950s, technology has reduced repetitive work. And better yet- the world has never been as peaceful as the past decade, and world-hunger is likely to be eradicated this century. All in all, things are looking up!

In And Now for the Good News, Ruby Wax investigates how recent and new developments across technology, education, business, health, food and social change are turning our world into a better place than it's ever been. Drawing on brand new research, compelling case studies and exercises to reframe your thinking, this is your guide to embracing change.

Filled with hope, actionable tips and memorable facts, And Now for the Good News will inspire you to look at the world around you with a renewed sense of optimism. It will also empower you to take action to make the world a kinder, better place.
