イルムヒルド・フューゼルは1940年にシレジアのバルデンブルクで生まれました。ドイツへ移住後、1947年から1965年まで当地で生活を送ったのち、1964年、ウィーンを訪れた際に夫と出会い、1965年に結婚して以来、ずっとウィーンに住んでいます。オーケストラの音楽家である彼との間には、3人の子供、5人の孫、そして今では4人の曾孫がおり、彼らからインスピレーションを受けて、『こどものくに』の中で詩や絵を書いています。 Irmhild Foessl was born in 1940 in Waldenburg Silesia. After resettlement, she lived in Germany from 1947 to 1965. In 1964, during a visit to Vienna, she met her husband, whom she married in 1965 and has lived in Vienna ever since.
