Classic DC horror stories return to print, in this second collection of Swamp Thing comics written and drawn by legendary comics creator Rick Veitch!

Rick Veitch originally joined DC's seminal Swamp Thing series as an artist during writer Alan Moore's game-changing run, bringing to life some of the most inventive horror and fantasy concepts ever seen in mainstream comics.

Following Moore's departure, Veitch took over as both writer and artist, continuing the revered creative legacy of Swamp Thing, and adding elements of time travel and metaphysics to one of the most unique comics of its era.

This volume collects more of Veitch's run, following the previously released Swamp Thing by Rick Veitch Book One, including Swamp Thing #74-79; Swamp Thing Annual #4; Hellblazer #6-12; Swamp Thing Annual #4; and material from Who's Who Update 1988 #3-4.

Rick Veitch was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont and felt the calling of comics at an early age. He was a regular penciler of Swamp Thing, collaborating with Alan Moore for a year and a half, before taking over as writer. Rick illustrated the first appearance of John Constantine, a character who went on to film and television fame. Forming his own publishing imprint, King Hell Press, Rick released a collected edition of The One in 1989, then went on to create and publish two original series, Brat Pack and The Maximortal. Rick is co-founder of Eureka Comics, specializing in creating comics for learning and literacy. In 2020 Rick was named Vermont's fourth official Cartoonist Laureate.
