""Empathy for Kids is an incredibly thoughtful, collaborative, and inspiring book that explains empathy in easy-to-understand language. Through simple, fun activities, we can cultivate this natural ability in our kids and help guide them toward a greater understanding of what kind and empathetic behavior looks like. This is a great resource to anyone who wants to teach kids to be considerate of others and how to respond in a caring manner."" --Catherine Huang, LCSW, Lurie Children's Hospital Center for Childhood Resilience ""In our society that is currently so divided, the ability to put yourself in another person's shoes is more valuable than ever. Nicole's insight and the creative and accessible activities in this book will take you and your child on a journey toward understanding not just their own feelings, but actually being able to empathize with others. As a mom of two young children, this is what I've been looking for!"" --Laura Statesir, director of operations, Chicago Adventure Therapy ""This book is incredibly informative and helpful! It has so many good (and easy to follow) ideas for activities to help a child learn to be more empathetic. I am a special education teacher, and I use this book to give me tips and tricks on how to help my students be more understanding of each other."" --Kyle Lewis, special education teacher
