Gail Herman has written many books for children, including easy-to-reads such as Flower Girl, Otto the Cat, What a Hungry Puppy, and Step into Reading's own The Lion and the Mouse and There Is a Town. Anthony Lewis and his wife, Kathryn, live with their cats Thomas, Maurice, and Jasper, in Cheshire, England. Since graduating with First Class Honors from the Liverpool School of Art in 1989, Anthony has illustrated more than 200 children's books.
