Mary Lawrence is a pen name for the author of a number of children's picture books, chapter books, and novels. Lynn Adams was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from Moore College of Art and Design. Her illustrations may be seen in Big Hand, Little Hand (Barron's) and How Many Feet? How Many Tails? (Scholastic), as well as books from The Kane Press. In addition, her work has been published in Sesame Street Magazine and she has been designated Illustrator of the Month several times by Highlights for Children. Lynn's home is Lakewood, Pennsylvania.
