Elly McCausland is an award-winning food writer and Associate Professor of English Literature at Ghent University, Belgium. She is the author of The Botanical Kitchen, which won the Jane Grigson Trust award in 2019 and was Highly Commended by the Guild of Food Writers awards in 2021. Elly won Online Food Writer of the Year at the 2016 Guild of Food Writers Awards and was shortlisted in 2017 and 2022. Her university course 'English Literature (Taylor's Version)' has received worldwide press attention.
