""Bradley’s generous use of pastels softens the turmoil that Avery faces while also employing fuzzy-edged thought bubbles to highlight her introspection. Gentle guidance for kids seeking to stay true to themselves."" —Kirkus ""Cast in soothing shades, Bradley’s airbrush-like digital renderings faithfully match the text, while Glover Tawwab reiteratively conveys the story’s message: 'Thinking about others is kind, and so is thinking about yourself.'"" —Publishers Weekly
