Reviews for Tell Me Something Happy Before I Go To Sleep

This is a charming jewel of a book for the very young. Not only is there a comforting bedtime story in a slim pouched volume but hidden inside the fat pretend-book with its little lock is a furry beanie toy asleep in bed. Everything about this package of book and toy is high quality, from the appealing violet fold-away cover to the pull-out book in its sheath and the sweet lop-eared bunny with furry ears. This is a child's equivalent of comfort food, and it will be the favourite book of the year for the very young. The soothing 'count your blessings' little story told to Willa the bear by her brother Willoughby has beautiful and evocative illustrations. Adults will smile at the subtle tale which deals with every child's reluctance and fear of going to sleep. This is a book to treasure. Ages 2-4 (Kirkus UK)
