Abbey's wins BOOKSTORE OF THE YEAR - Metro
Leading Edge Books, promoter of over 170 independent bookstores across Australia and convenor of the INDIE BOOK AWARDS, announced today that Abbey's Bookshop was the winner of the @AusIndieBooks BOOKSTORE OF THE YEAR - METRO.

Even in these challenging times, this store will undoubtedly continue to show commitment to their communities and continue to provide great books to their loyal customers – albeit in a slightly different way than normal. Bookstore of the Year - Regional was won by BooksPlus Bathurst. Penguin Random House was named Publisher of the Year, the third time they have won this category. Affirm Press was named the Small Publisher of the Year.
We're thrilled to get this nod of appreciation, a moment of sunshine in a testing time. Like all of our bookstore compatriots, we're doubling down on service, because that is the single most important thing we do beyond curating the wonderful selection of books from publishers large and small.
