Please bear in mind that the COVID-19 disruption has caused delays in books coming to us from our suppliers and also going out to you. Here is the current state of things:
BOOKS COMING IN TO ABBEY'S
Books that are 'In Stock' can be shipped out immediately.
Books that come from our local (Australian) suppliers will still generally come to us within 3-10 days if they are in stock with the supplier. We then dispatch them to you.
We are noticing significant delays (weeks) for books coming from overseas. If we discover an extended delay for any books you order, we will notify you. You can then decide whether to remove them from your order or cancel the order.
BOOKS SHIPPING OUT FROM ABBEY'S
EXPRESS POST: AusPost have temporarily suspended their Express Post guarantee. The Express Post service continues to be our fastest postal delivery option for our customers and we'll continue to prioritise these deliveries. They just may not be delivered next business day every time.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING DELAYS: We have been advised of delays for parcels leaving Australia. USA: 7-20 business days EXPRESS (so approximately +5 weeks to customer). STANDARD is 10-25 business days (so approximately +6 weeks to customer). View Australia Post news update
