He has worked for The Wildlife Trusts, Tullie House Museum and The Lottery Fund, among others. He lives in Windermere.

Born, raised, and having worked for decades in the Lake District National Park, Ibbotson is well accustomed to traversing and photographing awe-inspiring archaeological landscapes.
