B. William Hoolihan was born into a world steeped in storytelling. His grandfather, a masterful teller of tales, grew up in rural Kentucky in the early 1900s. Letters describing his childhood adventures on Uncle George's farm first ignited a passion for storytelling in young Bill. During Bill's formative years, his mother-a single parent and schoolteacher-surrounded him with a vibrant tapestry of adventurous and colorful characters who further inspired him. She nurtured his thirst for adventure by taking him on a journey to the Middle East. Together, they explored the Valley of the Kings, swam in the Dead Sea, and roamed the ancient ruins of the Parthenon. His quest for adventure deepened as he absorbed tales of distant lands and seas, particularly the Caribbean, told by a family friend. These days, Bill can be found cycling through the back roads of Florida, contemplating new stories and adventures to chronicle. If you see him, feel free to say hello, but tread carefully-you might just become a character in his next tale!
