Dr. Rudy Gonzalez is a New Testament professor and conference speaker, who has taught for over fifty years in churches, universities, and seminaries both in the US and abroad. With graduate degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Princeton Theological Seminary and a PhD from Baylor University, Dr. Gonzalez currently directs a Spanish language PhD program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO, and !PROCLAMA!, a preaching initiative aimed at helping preachers in the art and science of compelling biblical preaching. Dr. Gonzalez served as a translator for the Modern English Version Bible, presented in 2011 to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, on the four hundredth anniversary of the King James Bible. He has written two books, along with numerous chapters and articles in scholarly theological journals and denominational publications. He resides in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife, Virginia, and son, Rudolf.
