John Anderson is a long-time activist, researcher, and academic. Throughout his career, he has taken a particular interest in topics that affect the workplace and the economy as they relate to workers and society as a whole. As co-editor of two volumes of original research: Re-Shaping Work: Union Responses to Technological Change Volumes One and Two, he investigated with Chris Schenk issues of the changing nature of work and technology. Mr. Anderson is a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and works at The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada.
