What if the very voice that drove you to save others was the same one urging you to end your own life?
For over fifty years, Dr. Jacques A. Frigault devoted himself to helping thousands emerge from the darkness of suicidal thoughts and mental health struggles. Yet, few knew he harbored his own shadow-a voice born from the tragic death by suicide of his older brother, urging him toward the same fateful path.

In Whispers from the Shadow, Dr. Frigault shares his deeply personal journey, recounting his dialogue with his inner darkness and the resilience it took to ""fight the good fight."" With guidance from trusted mentors and a rekindled spirituality, he found the will to live, even as he confronted his own hidden struggles.

More than a memoir, this powerful book delves into the historical and philosophical understanding of suicide, and also dispels myths and sheds light on the causes and warning signs of suicide. It offers profound insights for anyone who wishes to understand the hidden pain within a soul.
