Tony Birch the bestselling author of three novels- The White Girl, winner of the NSW Premier's Literary Awards Indigenous Writers' Prize and shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award; Ghost River, winner of the Victorian Premier's Literary Award for Indigenous Writing; and Blood, which was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award. He is also the author of Shadowboxing and three short story collections- Father's Day, The Promise and Common People. His first collection of poetry, Broken Teeth, was published in 2016.
