Ephrem Dushimimana is a medical student, researcher, and youth leader based in Rwanda. Beyond his clinical studies, he serves as a leader of the Cancer Department at the Internal Health and Cancer Research Initiative (IHCRI) and as an Advisor and Project Coordinator for the Girls Leaders Forum (GLF) at the University of Rwanda. Ephrem is passionate about the intersection of leadership, public health, and human connection. Whether he is organizing campaigns for social change or writing about the intricacies of the human heart, his work is driven by a desire to create safer, more understanding environments for growth. When It Ended Peacefully is his second book, born from a desire to document the lessons of a relationship that taught him the true meaning of emotional maturity. He lives in Kigali, where he continues to write, study, and believe in the power of a second chance.
