Following his years as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, Chuck began a government career as an IRS tax collector. He wound up changing the agency and winning the highest laurels the agency and Treasury Department are able to award.

After retirement from the IRS, Chuck began a second career as an international tax consultant, principally in the nation of Georgia, and also in Armenia, Macedonia, and Saipan.

War, Love, and Taxes is a litany of painful failures and glorious successes, both personal and professional.
