Carrie Eunyoung Hong, PhD, is a professor of literacy at William Paterson University in New Jersey. She has extensive experience directing federal and state grant programs that provide teacher professional development. Irene Van Riper, EdD, is an assistant professor at West Liberty University in West Virginia.
