For nearly forty years, Jerry Jamison has been an award-winning advertising copywriter with more than thirty national writing commendations during his career. As the principal in a California-based advertising agency, he helped create and guide successful and memorable campaigns for a wide range of clients throughout the country. Following his years as a copywriter, Jamison turned to a career as a novelist, generating more than thirty books in a wide range of genres. He currently focuses on stories based on true events in history that are largely undiscovered. These include in-depth projects that require hundreds of hours of meticulous research through tens of thousands of contemporary news articles. With a detective-like nose for the truth, he utilizes newspapers, magazines and other credible sources from the actual times of the events and constructs accurate recreations of some of America’s most horrific crimes and most unique criminals not previously covered. Jamison has been the recipient of numerous national awards during his career including a national commendation, alongside Senator Edward Kennedy, for his service to underserved communities.
