5.0 out of 5 stars Truthful, Vulnerable, Advice for Leaders. You Need This Book!!!Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2025 I was fortunate to be a beta reader for this book and I must say, it's remarkable. I appreciated Dr. Alford's candidness infused with practical and relatable stories. Often we are pumped with a lot of theory and walk away wondering how to implement the things that we read. I think this book captures it perfectly and allows us to be able to insert ourselves into the book. Well done! I was captured by the opening and how he set the stage by being outright honest that this book isn't fluff. He damn sure was right, it isn't at all! The lessons he shares from his own experiences make me appreciate the true reality of this work. I must say though, I am intrigued by his Collaborative North Star Framework. I hope we get some additional insight into that work. It sounds really interesting. Another great read with good sound advice. I'll be sharing this with my networks and I recommend this for others to add to their professional development arsenal. We'll all need it with the world we're living in.
