Reviews for Understanding Memory

Understanding Memory offers an excellent introduction to research in memory. The integration of traditional cognitive methods with highlights from cognitive neuroscience is excellent. The book is current, up-to-date, and designed to be approachable for students new to the field. * Myra Fernandes, University of Waterloo * This is the most complete, readable, and well-written coverage of memory I have seen in a textbook. Research is described in relevant detail throughout, and the connections between research and related theories are clearly stated, allowing students to grasp the relevance of both. * Christine Lofgren, University of California Irvine *
