Ulo Florack, born 1958, is the holder of the Danner Honour Award 2011. After completing his studies under Professor Hermann Junger and Professor Jorg Immendorff at Munich Fine Art Academy, he has been an independent jewellery artist and painter in Augsburg since 1989. Beatriz Chadour-Sampson is an international and established jewellery historian, curator of exhibitions, private collections and a scholarly author. Her extensive publications range from Antiquity to the present day. In the field of contemporary art jewellery her publications include 'David Watkins: Artist in Jewellery' (Arnoldsche), 'Friedrich Becker' (Arnoldsche).
