"Prof. Niladri Bhusan Harichandan is a well-known poet, playwright and critic in Odia literature. He has made an epoch in three genres of Odia literature. He has published more than fifty plays and short plays, 11 poem collections, and 20 critical works to his credit; he is an adept scholar in modern drama, ancient and medieval poetry and linguistics in Odia. He is the co-translator of Odia Mahabharata by Sarala Das in Hindi. Some of his notable works include Itihasa Lekhibar Muhurta (Poetry), Soudarya Khoji Khoji Ishwara (Poetry), Galilionka Anguthi (Poetry), Sworgarohan (Drama), Nirapada Bhabishyata (Drama), Bhimabhoinka Sandanare (Drama), Munda Upare Chhata (Drama), Adhunika Odia Natakare Bastab O Udbhata Chetana (Criticism), Prachin Madhyajuga Odia Sahitya: Eka Nutan Prekshyapata (Criticism). He has taught different aspects of Odia language and literature for more than thirty-five years at Viswa-Bharati Central University. He has received Odisha Sahitya Academy award in 1991 for his criticism book 'Bhinna Samaya Bhinna Drusti'. Born in Kendrapada district of Odisha, Sanjeet Kumar Das is a poet, a translator, and an educationist. His poetry collection ""Asima Jeevan"" was published in 2021. His translation works include Dr. Niladri Bhusan Harichandan's plays ""Salabega and Columbus"", Dr. Bijay Mishra's play ""Tata Niranjana"" and Dr. Ratnakar Chaini's play ""Athacha Chanakya"". Currently he works as an Assistant Professor at Department of English Language and Literature, Central University of Odisha, Koraput."
