This book is an excellent teaching tool for lessons on diversity, autism, individuals with special needs, and accepting and curating friendships with people who are a just a little bit different. It is a beautiful story for families to share. This picture book is appropriate for children and adults of all ages.

Keeley Shaw is an artist, illustrator, and writer from Louisville, Kentucky. She holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. She has had the privilege of working directly with individuals on the Autism Spectrum which heavily influenced this work.
