David K Ferry is a Regents Professor Emeritus in the School of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. He received the Cledo Brunetti Award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in 1999 and is a fellow of this group as well as the American Physical Society and the Institute of Physics (UK). He is the author, co-author, or editor of some 40 books and about 900 refereed scientific contributions.
