In Through Her Eyes readers are taken on a profound generational journey through intertwined narratives offering parallel perspectives on life's experiences. This mother-daughter co-written memoir delves deep into the bonds that connect them. As a seasoned executive and new college grad, it explores the unique challenges and triumphs that define this mother and daughter's shared and individual identities.

With deeply personal insights, Olivia and Malia explore the role of their childhoods, societal norms, and storytelling in shaping their self-perceptions. As they reflect on their careers, education, and spiritual journeys, they offer readers a candid look at their dynamic relationship and the influences that have driven their choices and the values they hold dear.

This book is not just a memoir; it's a dialogue between two voices, rich with wisdom, admiration, and the unspoken words that finally find their place on the page. As Olivia and Malia confront their biggest accomplishments and grapple with failure, they reveal the powerful, enduring connection that comes from understanding and loving one another across time and experience. Through Her Eyes is a celebration of the complexities of mother-daughter relationships, a tribute to the strength of Black womanhood, a call to live authentically, and an invitation to see the world through each other's eyes.
