Christopher A. Gazdik has been a practicing mental health and substance abuse counselor for over twenty-five years. He is cofounder of the Psychological Services of Charlotte and founder of Metrolina Psychotherapy Associates. In addition to being a therapist, he has a passion for training other professionals as a preceptor with Walden University and Gardner Webb University and as a field liaison with UNC Charlotte. Chris earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from West Virginia University, graduating magna cum laude. Chris is a thought leader, content creator, and an established author with his previous work Through a Therapist’s Eyes: Reunderstanding Emotions and Becoming Your Best Self. He is also the founder of a fun and interesting podcast called Through a Therapist’s Eyes and has appeared on several podcasts and webinars to share his passion for mental health and substance abuse issues. A proud mountaineer from West Virginia, Chris currently resides in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.
