Linda Harrell has studied with Shamanic practitioners for many years and she and her husband Henry have attained the position of Master Teachers in the Arts of Tae Kwon Do and Reiki over the last 34 years. In 2009 they opened a Tae Kwon Do school on a small parcel of land they bought on the Kennebec River, a few miles from their home in Augusta, Maine. Since their encounters there with the Spirits of two Native children, as described in Those Who Come Along, their focus has been on reciprocity with Indigenous people of the area and slowly deepening human relationship with the Land. They continue to work with Native friends in the sharing and nurturing of native plant species, especially wild medicinals.
Linda writes from her heart and speaks with authenticity. Our culture doesn't readily talk of the spiritual journey and teachings that she shares. We are invited into realms unseen and perhaps ""unproven"" but nonetheless real and true for her. She doesn't ask us to believe anything but to witness and find the parallels of experience in our own lives. -Susan Bakaley Marshall, MPS, ATR, Art Therapist and Healer & Chris Marshall, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus, Unity College
