Ever wanted to understand the Christian faith better but do not know where to begin?
Theology Devotional provides readers with a 365-day journey through the important doctrines of the Christian faith. Approaching the topic from a broad, evangelical perspective, K. Bernard Knutson has designed this book for all biblically minded Christians to not only better understand the matter of their faith but to grow closer to God in the process.

Every month offers a deep dive into a particular branch of theology. Every day looks at a core doctrine of that study, exposing readers to a working definition, relevant Bible passages, historical and philosophical information, so that they can process that doctrine with a question. This is all with the aim that, after the course of a year, students will have a better working knowledge of their faith and be more prepared in sharing the gospel.

Reviews for Theology Devotional: A Daily Study in Systematic Theology

""Theology Devotional is a unique book in the world of devotional works. It is a most welcomed addition. K. Bernard Knutson believes the devotional life and the theological life should be wedded. So do I! This book unites these worlds in a way that will both bless the mind and stir the heart. I enthusiastically commend [its] widest reading."" --Daniel L. Akin, President, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary ""What a wonderful gift K. Bernard Knutson has prepared for followers of Christ! This thoughtfully designed devotional book guides readers toward biblically faithful, theological reflections for each day throughout the year. Beginning or ending each day by meditating on the nature of Scripture, the Trinity, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, salvation, and other key doctrines will strengthen the faith of men and women with God-honoring, doxological thoughts and encouragement for faithful Christian living. It is a joy to recommend this helpful work."" --David S. Dockery, President, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary ""This book provides a short daily devotional for each day of the year, focusing on theological terms and doctrines, and the corresponding biblical texts. Each entry includes reflection questions, encouraging the reader to mediate on the subject for the day. In a year's time, the reader will have worked through the major doctrines of the Christian faith. In short, concise, clear, thoughtful daily readings, God's incredible wisdom and grace is revealed and explained. Working through the readings is an act of worship and thus is a valuable daily practice, an opportunity to be shaped and formed by the truth of Scripture and Christian doctrine."" --Glenn R. Kreider, Editor in Chief, Bibliotheca Sacra ""K. Bernard Knutson's Theology Devotional is a welcome addition to the intersection of theology and spiritual formation. In this thoughtful volume, Knutson guides readers through the foundational categories of Christian doctrine, combining concise theological description with Scripture-driven reflection. Each section invites contemplative engagement--leading the reader from understanding to prayer. As the evangelical world grows increasingly attentive to dogmatic and systematic theology, this devotional shines as a gem--one that nourishes the soul, grounds contemplation in the word, and deepens devotion through a theological lens."" --Joshua R. Farris, Director of Spiritually Driven Leadership, Soul Science Ministries/Institute (with Kairos University)
