Pete Mutch was born and raised in a small rural town in the ""Thumb"" of Michigan. He later went on to attend Alma College, Michigan State University, and the University of Michigan where he earned his B.S., M.S., and D.D.S. degrees respectively. Along the way, he married his high school sweetheart, and homecoming queen, Nancy. He practices dentistry in Lapeer, Michigan - just down the road from their hometown. They raised two sons, have two great daughters-in-laws, and three precious granddaughters. Everyone loves to be outside in the woods, on a stream, in a canoe or camper. He and his family have always enjoyed the Pigeon River Forest and his very special family connection to the area. He enjoys fly fishing and more importantly, he loves the ""environs"" where trout are found. The old Vanderbilt Club put him right in the middle of it all.
