Jimmyn Parc is Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Communication Research, Seoul National University, Korea and a visiting lecturer at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), France. He is also a research associate at the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE), Brussels, Belgium. His recent research focuses on the film and music industries which are faced with a changing business and trade environment as well as new challenges from digitization. Patrick A. Messerlin is Professor Emeritus of economics at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), France, and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) in Brussels, Belgium. His current research deals with economic and trade relations between Europe and East Asia, with a particular focus on cultural industries.
