"A provocative yet inspirational appeal to change our perspective about ""work,"" in order to disrupt the disengagement plaguing our workplaces.

""Work"" isn't working for most people, and one only has to look at the news or statistics on employee engagement for evidence of this claim. But why? What's changed? In The Tip Jar Culture, you'll discover the answer has less to do with what has changed, and more to do with what hasn't.

Internationally celebrated workforce strategist Gregory Offner offers a fresh approach for leaders and employees alike, challenging long held ideas about what it means to ""work"" and what the experience of work ""should"" be like in a world where wifi is ubiquitous but work/life balance is scarce.

Distilling lessons learned from working in the world's most engaging environments, The Tip Jar Culture focuses on the importance of understanding human behavior and motivation. Offner's personal journey from a performer to a corporate executive enriches the narrative, providing unique insights into creating a fulfilling and engaging workplace. The book delves into the psychology behind employee motivation, offering practical strategies for leaders to foster a more productive, satisfied, and engaged workforce. It's a must-read for anyone looking to transform their organization's culture and rekindle the passion in their teams."

Reviews for The Tip Jar Culture: How to Re-Engage and Reignite Your Workforce

"I purchased this book today and can't stop reading (well, had to pause to post!). I love how relatable it is, and the logic behind why companies are in their present state and what can be done is spot on. If you are in a position of leadership or just want to better understand the evolution of the workplace in a way no one has delivered before, this is a must-read. -Amanda Grether There is a wave of Speakers discussing Engagement who are very good at what they do but haven't done thousands of hours in the workplace in HR, interviewing executives, as well as made a living as a Piano Bar performer, until you meet Greg Offner. His story is fascinating, heartbreaking, and in progression, a wonderful resolution to bring a Tip Jar Culture to a workplace sorely in need of it. I love the examples, I laughed out loud, as well as made me think about how I can apply these principles to what I teach in my position at work and apply to leadership. Greg knows his stuff, he's a pro, and I believe this language he has implemented in a great book will be an easy and obvious way for workers and leader to reference engagement in the workplace from here on out. Do we have a Tip Jar Culture? That's an important question to ask. Well done and well worth the read and purchase. -Jason Hewlett As a CPO with over 15 years of experience, ""The Tip Jar Culture"" was a refreshing read on what it really means to have a culture of engagement but with a flair of the entertainment industry! (It is an easy, but informative read!) However, when I read books on culture, what makes a book the BEST book is when it has the tangible takeaways and actual steps you can take inside your organization and he does this in each chapter. I will note that this book is NOT just for HR leaders, but for anyone who finds themselves in a leadership position, and is looking to level up the team culture! -Erica Rooney"
