Kelly Bishop (Author) Kelly Bishop is a Tony Award-winning dancer and actress best known for her roles as matriarch Emily Gilmore in the beloved Emmy Award-winning show Gilmore Girls and as Marjorie Houseman in the hit film Dirty Dancing.
