This book seeks to explore the critical but very influential challenge of wastewater management from a global perspective and to specifics in SSA region where the subject is under researched. Dr. Nyika is a Lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya in the Department of Geoscience and the Environment and a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Johannesburg. She has a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of South Africa and a Msc degree in Land and Water Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Nyika has contributed to knowledge through publication of several journal articles, books and book chapters in the field of hydrobiogeochemistry. Prof Dinka is currently a full Professor working at the University of Johannesburg in the Department of Civil Engineering Science. He has a PhD in Hydrology, Hydraulics and Water Management from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Austria and a Msc degree in Irrigation Engineering from the Arbaminch University of Ethiopia. He has contributed to knowledge in many publications in the field of Water Engineering.
