Dr. Ron Charles worked as a structural engineer for twelve years and served as a senior pastor for fourteen years. Dr Charles has been happily married to his wife, Paula, for fifty-three years. They have two sons and two grandsons who all help in their missions ministry efforts. He is passionate about history and archaeology, particularly New Testament and Roman era history. He fed this passion by earning an MA in Theology, a PhD in ancient history, and a ThD in historical theology. Dr Charles' quest for the historical Jesus has spanned over forty-three years, with travels to more than fifty countries. He has taken part in archaeological investigations in five countries in search of information about the life of Jesus. Dr Charles is cofounder of the Albanian-American Archaeological Society, and he has served on the board of directors for Pacific International University and Final Frontiers International. Until recently he also served on the board of governors for the International Biographical Center of Cambridge, who has awarded him it's One Thousand Great Americans designation. Today, Dr Charles serves as a missionary to the people of the Middle East. He also conducts historical/ educational tours to Europe and the Middle East.
