""Seeing opportunities and challenges with fresh eyes is a big advantage for innovators. Véronique Peiffer's The Scrappy Entrepreneur has this kind of clear-eyed quality. Her description of the entrepreneurial process can only have come from someone who has just emerged from the trenches. The result is a fresh and practical guide that will appeal to both aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs."" -Professor Emeritus Paul Yock, Founding Director, Stanford Biodesign "" The Scrappy Entrepreneur is packed with resources, advice, and lessons that any early-stage entrepreneur can benefit from. Reading this book feels like being supported by a great mentor-answering countless questions that I had myself at the start of my entrepreneurial journey and that I now hear from so many others at the start of theirs. A perfect read for anyone looking to get off to the right start as a scrappy entrepreneur."" -Amanda French, Innovator, entrepreneur, and adviser (Founding CEO-Emme, acquired) ""Véronique Peiffer shares her hard-earned lessons on big and small aspects of entrepreneurship. Her guidance is rooted in firsthand experience from her own startup, which I had the privilege of working with during its earliest days. Each chapter combines anecdotes, reflections, and practical advice, thoughtfully addressing the nuances of different startups. I'll recommend this book to all the early-stage founders I work with-it shows that they are not alone in navigating funding, team dynamics, and all the small stuff."" -Christina Tamer, Vice President, Ventures at VentureWell
