This handbook explores crime, deviance and punishment in the Caribbean with a focus on marginalized perspectives from scholars in the Caribbean. It explores the region’s unique cultural context and challenges, particularly the ongoing influence of colonialism. It also covers types of criminal activities and punishment, including contemporary and emerging areas such as cybercrime and white collar crime, as well as discussing victims and victimization, and crime and justice policies. This handbook builds on the growing field of interest in this region to establish a Caribbean Criminology.
