Lieutenant Colonel Tom Harmon, newly transferred to the U.S. Space Force to head a specialized operations office, stumbles onto a secret that could topple the nation: a covert plot to force the President of the United States from office using a next-generation electromagnetic pulse weapon known as NIGHTSTAR. The conspiracy's architects-an elite cabal of cabinet members and senior appointees known as the Four Horsemen-have already failed in a quiet 25th Amendment maneuver. Now, they've shifted to intimidation, threatening to plunge America into darkness unless the President resigns.

What neither the President nor the Four Horsemen realize is that the weapon's chief architect has his own agenda. Having aided in NIGHTSTAR's development, he intends to use it not just as a political cudgel, but as a tool to create global chaos. In a shadowy arms deal, he brokers the system to a terrorist organization, triggering an international scramble as rival nations attempt to secure the weapon through a dark web auction.

With enemies closing in from every side, Harmon joins forces with the President and a small circle of loyal allies. Together, they launch a desperate, high-risk operation to stop the weapon's deployment, navigating a web of espionage, sabotage, and foreign interference. In the end, the conspiracy collapses: the coup fails, treasonous officials are arrested, and the Republic survives-but not unscathed.

Yet even as the dust settles, a chilling truth emerges. Before his capture, the antagonist concealed a duplicate of the weapon's core technology. Imprisoned in a black site, he escapes, setting the stage for a new and potentially deadlier threat.

About the AuthorAt the age of ten, JT Joseph received his first four-inch telescope as a birthday gift. His first glimpse of the stars was prompted by viewing the USA Echo satellite. He attended the US Military Academy at West Point, Penn State University, and the University of Houston before initiating a 34-year career as a USAF and Air National Guard Fighter Pilot and Commercial Airline Pilot. As an amateur Astronomer, he has followed the proliferation of satellites in orbit. Publishing technical documents led him to discover the suspense of a novel. He resides in Colorado with his wife + and his family, including five adult children and seven grandchildren.
