As Hannah pursues her own desire for justice and revenge on behalf of her mother, she doesn't understand that justice can come at a high price indeed, and innocence is relative… Unlike McTiernan's previous Galway police-centred novels, this one is a legal procedural story set in America so it's quite different - but like the Cormac Reilly books, it is a finely crafted story with a very interesting set-up! Dervla McTiernan's debut novel, The Ruin, was a critically acclaimed international bestseller published around the world.
