Calvin S. Jackson is a GOD-fearing man, bestselling author, philanthropist, entrepreneur, youth-sports coach, podcaster, and recreational therapist for over twenty years at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center/Mission Resiliency helping people of all ages and backgrounds to learn positive coping skills that will assist them throughout the ups and downs of life. His humble beginnings on the west and northeast sides of San Antonio, Texas, led to graduating with honors from the University of Texas in San Antonio with an education degree in kinesiology and health. As a father of two, an uncle, a GODfather, a mental health advocate, and a community role model, Calvin wanted to do more for the people who needed help while dealing with the hardships of the world. So he created a motivational book series that could provide knowledge, wisdom, insight, self-awareness, support, connection, guidance, and love to people of all ages. Two of the author's favorite quotes are ""GOD is Love"" and ""Knowledge is Power""! And to be completely honest, ""The Moments of Truth"" was a true and meaningful way to spread both of those very important two messages.
One second can change everything, and in that moment, you are never truly alone. For Calvin S. Jackson, truth isn't revealed in a single, defining instant. Instead, it emerges in a series of quiet moments woven into the fabric of everyday life, each carrying extraordinary weight within ordinary circumstances. This is a steady companion for life's quiet crossroads. With grace and clarity, Jackson blends thought-provoking quotes and anecdotes that gently reminds us that every ordinary day holds extraordinary potential. At the heart of Jackson's message is a profound reassurance: in each of these moments, we are never truly alone. God's presence surrounds us. This is a book to keep within reach, one you can open to any page for a timely word of hope and perspective. Perfect for devotional readers, seekers of faith-filled encouragement, and anyone longing to live more intentionally. -Ann Collins, Book Reviewer
