Born on 05 November 1947 in the Dhenkanal District of Odisha, Sri Dilliswar Moharana, as an actor, director and dramatist established his unique identity and talent at State and National levels of drama festivals and competitions. He has been conferred with the ""Odidha Sangeet Natak Akademi Award - 2002"", for his outstanding contribution in the sphere of direction in Odia plays and ""Odisha Sahitya Akademi Award - 2004"" for his play Bartta (The Message). He is the founder President of ""Kalaparishad, Dhenkanal"", a drama institution, which has been consecutively honoured with medals and accolades at State and National Levels and created a havoc in the contemporary dramaturgical world. Some of his notable plays are Sua, Dwitiya Ishwar, Bartta, Baunsha Thengare Swadhinata, Sesha Thikana, Bhalapaibara Ranga, Kumar Kulachandrama, Asanna Pralaya, Nyaya, Uttar Purusha, Sedina Asuchi, Siddhanta, Saheed Bandhu, and Bumerang. Born in the Kendrapada district of Odisha, Sanjeet Kumar Das is a poet, translator, and educationist. His poetry collection, Asima Jeevan, was published in 2021. His translation works include Dr. Narayan Sahoo's And the Wretched (2023) and Bewildered God (2023), Dr Niladri Bhusan Harichandan's Salabega and Columbus (2023), Shankar Tripathy's Nabakalebar (2024), Waiting for Ramachandra and Sunya Purush (2024), and Metamorphosis Two Plays on Gandhi (2024) Dr. Bijoy Kumar Satapathy's Soul of Kansa and Kokua (2023) Dr. Bijay Mishra's play Niranjana (2023) and Dr. Ratnakar Chaini's play That Chanakya Lives (2023), Harihar Mishra's Demeaned Gajapati (2024) and Kunja Ray's Invincible Kharavela (2024). He has published one edited book, A Translingual Voyage: Select Indian Writings in English Translation. He works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, Central University of Odisha, Koraput.
