The Magic of Mentoring offers an introduction to the theory and practice of successful mentoring together with a unique focus on how mentors can reflect on the skills they bring to the role, and those they still need to develop. Carol Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in Teacher Education and Mentoring. Carol has had a range of teaching and management roles within the further education sector and for the past 10 years has been training teachers and mentors within the department of Teacher Education at the University of Bedfordshire.
