In this illustrated tale, a little boy encounters the divine through his family's diverse bedtime stories, and wonders which of the names and forms are really true ... Then, in a dream, he is visited by a spirit horse that illuminates how myriad aspects of divinity exist harmoniously in our physical world of duality and balance.

Jason Wade Hammonds is a writer and auteur whose work explores the intersections of religion, physics, and absurdist humor. Born in Flint, Michigan, Hammonds has lived and worked in New York City for over two decades, cultivating a multidisciplinary practice that bridges literature, cinema, and collaborative performance. He holds a PhD in Media from The European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland, where his research examined cultural prophecy and the role of speculative narrative in contemporary media. Whether on the page or the screen, Hammonds is driven by a desire to ask big questions in unexpected ways - inviting audiences to laugh, reflect, and transform. Jeremy Grand is an artist and illustrator from Long Island, New York. Jeremy works primarily in pen and ink, filling pages with details to encourage spending time in the imaginary and often whimsical spaces, with themes of religious exploration, cryptozoology, myths and legends, and exaggerated public spaces. His work is approachable and humorous. Jeremy has his BFA from SUNY Purchase, and works in non-profit human services. Jeremy has shown in galleries, museums, and various art spaces across New York. Prints of his work, original commission drawings, and his tarot deck can be found in homes all over the world.
