She is a contributor to the British Comedy Guide (www.comedy.co.uk) and has appeared as an extra in the BBC TV comedy 'The League of Gentlemen'. A keen local historian, she lives in Louth, Lincolnshire.

Lucy Wood qualified as a journalist in 1999 and has worked in the world of news and print ever since, now running her own business. She graduated from the University of East Anglia with an MA in Creative Writing Crime Fiction and is proud to have been shortlisted for the 2020 Little, Brown Award for Crime Fiction. A keen local history enthusiast, Lucy has written 4 books on Lincolnshire and its fascinating past.
