Dr. Sharon Joyner-Payne is a writer and speaker whose work explores belonging, servant leadership, and love expressed through community. Her writing draws on over three decades of executive leadership and has been shaped by her experience speaking to organizations, faith communities, and women's networks. This book is her debut, written to honor the people and relationships that formed her understanding of leadership as service. Sharon spent over 30 years with Inmar Intelligence, most recently as executive vice president and chief people officer, leading communications, corporate marketing, and human resources for more than 5,000 employees. Her commitment to people-first leadership is recognized through the Dr. Sharon Joyner-Payne Servant Leadership Award. She holds a BSBA from Appalachian State University, an MBA from Wake Forest University, and a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University. Sharon lives in North Carolina with her husband and continues to serve as a church lay leader and on advisory boards.
