Every day hundreds of people gather at the Australian War Memorial to hear a personal story of love, loss, service and sacrifice.

The Last Post profiles some of the 102,800 soldiers whose names are listed on the Memorial's Roll of Honour; it explores how and why we commemorate, and the role of the Australian War Memorial in national remembrance.
