Richard T. Holmes, USN (Ret.) ""This book details the ship's contributions to the service of our country and the author's own story of adventure. Goulet, former supply officer on the USS Joseph P. Kennedy ""The Jumpin' Joey ... reads like the biography of a ship. Without undo fanfare, Brooks clearly and satisfyingly presents to his readers the facts and details of a prominent and important piece of Navy history.
