Kathryn Moody is a Melbourne-based researcher, writer and cyclist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Geography and Law from Monash University and worked as a secondary school teacher before pursuing a career in health and safety. Kathryn got her first bike in grade four - a yellow dragster - after first riding her friend's stepthrough around Woodend in country Victoria. More recently, Kathryn has found her writer's voice while researching the stories of the early Australian overlander bicyclists. The Indefatigables is her first book. Heath Ryan is a publisher and writer, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics and History from the University of Toronto. Born in Toronto, Canada, Heath lived and worked in Jordan, France and the United Kingdom before moving to Australia. Heath is also a father and an ultra-endurance cyclist. In addition to racing as 'The Dark Knight' in the inaugural Indian Pacific Wheel Race in 2017, he completed the ultra-endurance 'triple crown' in 2018 by racing across three continents in the same calendar year.
